Finding patterns in data and the valuable insights it hides from bare eyes has always intrigued me. Though I do not have any formal training in data mining or machine learning, my interest in this field caught on when I was working on recommender software. Association rules and collaborative filtering got me hooked.

This blog is a by product of my interest and research in this area. I hope engineers and analysts, who are not formally trained in these disciplines will benefit from it.
